Before joining Blue Arrow Fabio worked as a Food and Beverage Manager in the Hospitality industry. Looking for a new adventure, Fabio started with Blue Arrow as a Recruitment Consultant in 2017. During the Covid Pandemic he was given the opportunity to join the Customer Service Hub as Business support Coordinator and within 18 months progressed to his current role as an Executive Business Support Manager.

Progression. Throughout my time at Blue Arrow my career goals have always been supported by my managers with encouragement to pursue open opportunities for development within Blue Arrow.

 

How has your performance been recognised during your time with Blue Arrow?

My performance has been recognised in many ways, starting with promotion from Recruitment Consultant to Executive Business Support Manager, ‘thank you’ posts on Workplace from co-workers which are rewarded with vouchers, and most recently I received the Outstanding Performance reward which came with a trip to France.     

What is your proudest achievement during your time at Blue Arrow?

 

Receiving my Outstanding Performance award at our annual conference.

 

What do you believe sets Blue Arrow apart from other recruitment employers?

 

Despite working in a remote environment Blue Arrow is very accommodating and stands out through its family like atmosphere. People are generally very open which is something that can be observed across departments and branches.

 

What are your top three tips for anyone starting a career in the recruitment industry?

  1. Treat candidates like customers
  2. Stay connected- keep in touch on a regular basis with clients and candidates
  3. Be positive – there will be ups and down but the important thing is you stay positive
